Rarely seen in the spotlight these days are these smaller subtle works. This is indeed a standout. The message manages to be poignant and relevant to all. These lines found their way into my mouth, 'Oddly intimate atoms'
'Odours can recall'. Congratulations. Michael.

I enjoyed this piece. I really like "intimate atoms."

Oh,my! The tastes were there as much as the odors. They were so well chosen to offer variety. Thank you for sharing and lifting me back to recall personal moments in time. Congrats on the TPS Spotlight.

I loved this when I first read it, and I don't know what I can add to my previous comment because I still feel the same way about it. Congrats on the spotlight! Well-deserved for sure!

Skillfully constructed with few words, strong imagery and a powerful message.

The sights and sounds and smells we remember for some reason Mirthy. There is a name for the trigger mechanism, but it escapes me now (no it's not the nose knows) . Congrats on the Spotlight and this short piece does especially create a deep longing for those carefree days of yesterday; when we didn't know enough to worry yet, cheers!

I want to thank everyone for all the kind and encouraging comments. They mean more than I can say.
