Ha, you hope I like it? I adore it, it's wonderful! It was especially cool seeing it being made, how it went from a blank page to an incredible piece of artwork. This is really cool, Michael, well done.

WoW! You are right in that anyone can see that was a GREAT DEAL of hard work...LOVED watching the Time lapse, that gave it greater meaning to further one's respect of such Talent....I loved how you used what was it a computer or something as an imprint for the middle of the drawing...I MAY BE ALL WET and most likely am...but I saw what looked like a lap top that you placed on top of the drawing at one point, maybe it had nothing to do with the drawing itself...NO matter....THIS WAS A GREAT piece of art work....WELL DONE....Musie

Hey Musie, thank you for the great comment. When I was drawing this, I was interrupted several times, when I put the laptop on the picture, it's to show a person some of my other pieces. Otherwise I was using the laptop to play Electro/house/dubstep mix while I drew. The gridding is something I've always done with the Koi I draw.
I can't wait to time lapse again. Because I could hear the camera click it made me time out each section of the blacking, making this the fastest drawing I've ever done. My average time drawing is 16 to 25 hours.

What a neat video! And such a unique style :) I also work in pen so I appreciate the time that goes into a drawing like this. Keep on posting!

Thanks so much Fledgling, yea it keeps my mind off other things while I draw. And I like to finish a drawing in a single sitting, which can be between 9 and 30 hours depending on how big it is.

Oooo I really like this! Especially with the time lapse- I love seeing how other artists work. :) It really lets you appreciate how much time went into it!
I love the mix of the flowing lines and the sharp lines- it comes together into something fantastic!
Great work with this- I'd love to see more. :)

Naw the friend set up the camera and set it to take a picture every 10 to 15 seconds. Came back 4 hours later, and moved the camera. Lol I had gone up to the counter when I got there that day, paid for my drinks. All I had to do is raise my hand when I wanted one to be brought over. I know the owner of the coffee shop :P

I remember asking you the questions here! Neat to read the answers (I sadly never came back to see).
Awesome photo again and video. Congrats on your spotlight!

This is something a little different, and sadly I don't get to appreciate the other artistic talents of TPS'ers often enough, but seeing this was a really fun experience - one which made me a bit envious too, since I can't draw my way out of a paper bag!
The drawing alone was excellent, but seeing the work going in to it made it more special.
Congratulations on the spotlight!
